 Thank you for submitting your work ("Work") to the New Hampshire Alliance for Arts Education ("NHAAE"), for inclusion in the Principal's Tool Kit ("Tool Kit") as further defined in the attached hereto). The NHAAE would like to include your Work in the Tool Kit at some point. You understand that the Tool Kit may be produced and distributed in more than one medium, including, without limitation in print, on a compact disk, in Portable Document Format (pdf) and on a website. If included, your Work will also be able to be printed or downloaded from the Tool Kit.
Initial distribution of the Principal's Tool Kit will be made, free of charge, to hundreds of New Hampshire school principals in its initial publication. Future distributions may include other individuals and institutions. NHAAE is also considering charging for the Tool Kit in the Future. Any proceeds generated by such sales would solely benefit the NHAAE, to help it meet its goals and objectives.
In consideration of your work in the Tool Kit, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which you hereby acknowledge, you hereby grant to NHAAE a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive right and license to incorporate the Work into the Tool Kit. The license granted hereunder includes the right to edit, telecast, rerun, reproduce, use, digitize, modify and distribute the Work, in whole or in part, in any medium now known or hereafter developed, as incorporated in the Tool Kit, and any advertising and promotion related to the Tool Kit. This license shall not include the right of the NHHAE to use the Work independently of the Tool Kit or of the advertising and promotion related thereto. You also grant NHAAE the right to use your name or likeness in connection with the rights granted by you to NHAAE in your Work.
You warrant and represent that you are the author and/or artist of the Work, that you own the Work and that the Work is your sole creation. You hereby release and discharge NHAAE, and its officers, directors, employees and agents, form any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the Work, including without limitation any and all claims for libel, or violation of rights of privacy or publicity.
The rights granted herein do not confer in you any rights of ownership in the Tool Kit, including, without limitation, the copyright thereto, all of which shall be and remain the property of NHAAE, except to the extent that you shall retain ownership in the copyright of the Work.
We also ask that you provide us with the appropriate notice of copyright you wish to be placed at the bottom of your Work in the Tool Kit.
Please sign a copy of this statement as confirmation that you have read the above, and that you understand that 1) you will receive no consideration from the NHAAE other than the public exposure of your work in the Tool Kit, and 2) you are granting the NHAAE the right to reproduce and include your work in the Tool Kit in perpetuity. If you are a minor, please have your parent or guardian sign below.
