from the New Hampshire K-12 Curriculum Framework for the Arts:

"Additionally, the framework is a foundation for local development of assessment instruments. The K-12 Curriculum Framework for the Arts provides expectations for student learning which may serve as a basis for assessment design. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and the State Consortium for Assessment and Student Standards/Arts (SCASS) models may also be used as a reference for designing performance assessments, keeping in mind that curriculum, instruction, and assessment work together to promote strong educational programs."
